I wanted to take the time to write about the incredibly positive experience I recently had buying and selling with Jason. In the spring of this year I wanted to sell my home. It was a large rural property with some distinctive features that I knew would limit those interested. It was a million dollar property 30 minutes from the nearest major center and I had concern that it would be difficult to move. However, Jason, and his team provided a great deal of assistance in preparing my home for its showing, as well as analyzing what improvements could be made to net the most for my home.
Within a short period of time, given what the real estate climate was like, along with the price of the property, it appeared to me that I would have to wait on the home to sell for an undefined period of time. However, given the associations that Jason and his team have, they actually found an interested buyer that was interested in listing with them. As a result of the massive base of connections that they have, I was able to sell my home within a short period of time, after anticipating having to wait until the next spring! And the last part of this experience is that I got nearly 100% of my asking price with minimal conditions (only financing for the buyer).
After making the sale, I also needed to find a home in a pretty defined location. Within a day of asking to go look at a number of properties, Jason was able to arrange for multiple showings, and specifically the home of my dreams I was able to purchase with his help. The house that I purchased had multiple interested buyers given the location and quality of the home. After receiving a plan to close this property from Jason, he presented what he believed to be a fair offer and reasons to sell the home to me. I was able to buy the home with an offer that wasn't as high money wise, but given his ability to close my deal, I was able to win the bid for my new home.
Even after the sale closed, he still worked closely with me to arrange for financing as it had become relatively difficult to obtain my mortgage given the recent changes in mortgage legislation. Through their mortgage brokerage, he had numerous options for me, and were able to run through each scenario to get me the best interest rate and terms.
In closing, I can't say enough about how hard he worked for me to both buy and sell my homes. His ability to close deals, and make nearly any situation into their advantage, has me living in the house of my dreams.
